Generic AI assistants are fluent fabricators — they will invent a hadith, or a fatwa, with full confidence and no source. Classical reference libraries hold excellent, authenticated corpora, but they're built for people who already know what to search for, not for someone asking a question in plain language.
The Trust Model: Source-cited or silent.
Sourcing from a classical corpus, citing the exact source line, and refusing to answer when the text is silent — doing all three reliably — has only been technically possible for about twelve months.
We launch on Sahih Bukhari — Sunni Islam's most rigorously authenticated text — to prove the proprietary methodology developed in-house. The product isn't a hadith chatbot — it's the source layer for every Islamic question asked online. When evidence is insufficient, Al-Tahqeeq abstains. Every citation links directly to the original text.

Al-Tahqeeq is built to be checked. What counts as authentic, when to abstain, how sources are weighted — these are exactly the decisions that belong with qualified scholars, not with an engine. We are establishing a scholarly review process and inviting qualified scholars to examine the proprietary methodology developed in-house, so the work stays accountable to the people best placed to judge it.
