Hadith
Every authenticated hadith collection, queryable by topic, citable by reference. The reference layer the Muslim world has needed for 1,400 years.
AlTahqeeq was born out of a profound frustration with the state of Islamic knowledge in the AI era. As generative language models became widespread, they brought a dangerous capability to the forefront: fluent, confident fabrication.
When asked religious questions, these models would invent hadiths that never existed, attribute them to classical scholars, and wrap them in the language of certainty. For a faith where preservation of the text is paramount, this isn't just a technical bug, its a crisis.
We realized that solving this wasn't about building a better chatbot. It was about building a reliable retrieval engine that respects the boundaries of classical scholarship. An engine that only surfaces authenticated texts, cites every single claim back to its source, and most importantly, stays silent when it doesn't know.
Our mission is to build the trust layer for all Islamic literature. We want to ensure that as the world moves toward AI-mediated answers, the words of the Prophet ﷺ and the scholarship of the tradition are preserved, accurately represented, and easily verifiable by anyone, anywhere.
We are not building a replacement for scholars. We are building a tool for research—a system that brings the library of Islamic tradition to the fingertips of the ummah, with uncompromising integrity.

Building toward every authenticated Islamic text in one place, so the answer to a religious question never has to come from an AI that operates on internet.
Every authenticated hadith collection, queryable by topic, citable by reference. The reference layer the Muslim world has needed for 1,400 years.
Comparative tafsir across centuries of scholarship, side-by-side, with each interpretation tagged to its school and context.
AlTahqeeq is built to be checked. What counts as authentic, when to abstain, how sources are weighted — these are exactly the decisions that belong with qualified scholars, not with an engineering team alone.
We are establishing a formal scholarly review board and inviting qualified scholars to examine the methodology developed.

We're building AlTahqeeq because the trust layer the ummah needs doesn't exist yet and because if we don't build it carefully, someone else will build it carelessly.
